The U.S. health care system can be complicated. It’s even more challenging to navigate care and coverage as a young adult in a first job or as someone who does not speak English as a first language. Employers play an important role in the health care education of their employees and should take the time to help them understand their benefits and resources, says Rachel Sapoznik, founder, president and CEO of Sapoznik Insurance, in this panel of experts podcast. “They will save tens of thousands, if not millions of dollars, if their employees are better educated on their health care,” she said.
